The next main destination is Arles, where I’ll spend a week following a course in portrait photography at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie. I’ve decided break the journey somewhere near the Puy de Dôme – a region I’ve no idea about, except that it’s in deepest France and not as colonized by Brits as the Dordogne – which would have been the alternative direction.
I’ve randomly chosen a bnb because of its appealing name: Les Quatres Provinces d’Irlande. https://www.booking.com/hotel/fr/les-quatre-provinces-d-39-irlande.en-gb.html. I love the name of the village: St Amant Tallende
