Taking photos in the street demands a different mind set. You have to be outgoing, maybe even outrageous. It’s harder and more exhilarating than I ever imagined. The best part is the interaction you observe or even become part of.
Here we were let loose in the Arena. It’s a slightly spooky place.

The photo of Caroline is deliberately blurred. Her energy and enthusiasm for the subject were contagious.
That evening, the terrace rewards me with a spectacular sunset. I feel at peace. I reflect that the most beautiful sunsets need the clouds. I don’t need to milk the (mixed) metaphor further. That – and a glass of rosé is enough.
